I just recently purchased the Articulate suite, all new to me, and have been going thru the very helpful tutorials today. I'm not sure what changed, but now (about 5 lessons into the tutorials) I am unable to get into Slide Properties. I even tried to go into older presentations where I was able to see Slide Properties earlier today, but having the same problem in every presentation. I've included a screenshot. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!
I'm wondering if perhaps you left the Slide Properties window open for a little while - there's a known issue that occurs when that happens. See if this article gets things behaving normally again.
You'll also want to be sure you're following some basic rules to prevent strange behavior:
Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior.
You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names.
Yes, I believe that might be the case, leaving it open too long. I restarted my computer, and that has seemed to alleviate the problem. I will keep your rules in mind as well.
