Slide Properties window is blank

Oct 10, 2012

I'm updating an existing course and have made some changes to slide properties.  I wanted to make an additional change, but when I returned to slide properties all of the slides were "gone".  They still look OK on preview, so I don't think their function is gone, just my ability to make changes.  I have the same issue with the attachments window.  I made one change, but when I decided I wanted to change it back, that window, too, was blank.  Can you help?

Restarting my machine fixed the issue with the slide propertites, but the attachements remained blank and I had to add them all again.  After posting the [collapse]original message I also noticed that when the Publish box was blank, although the course had been published before.  After restart the previous "publish" data was back.  This is a really good thing, as I have a template in there from the old publish that I don't know how to recreate or save to my new computer!

Hi Joyce,

Sorry for the trouble, but glad the restart seemed to resolve it. The only thing that comes to mind is that if you leave Slide Properties open for an extended period of time (maybe 10-15 minutes), you may find that PowerPoint and the Slide Properties Manager become unresponsive.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if it happens again. Thanks!
