It all depends...are you using audio? If so, the slide length will adjust to the length of the audio file once you import it.
If you aren't using audio, I believe the slide length defaults to 5 seconds. In this case, if you have any animations on your slide, once you sync them (time them out), the slide length will adjust to accommodate that.
I just posted a similar question! Tim I understand the above informaiton... and that default can be updated in the presentation options. However, the default applys to all slides that do not have audio or animations. :( I'm hoping someone can tell me where duration of an individual slide can be set.
Ah, I see. I think the only other way to do this, is to insert a silent audio file at the length you want onto the particular slide. This way the slide will adjust to the length of the audio file, but because the audio file is silent, there will be no audio.
If you've got a slide with no audio or if you want the slide to go longer than the audio, you can also just drag the timeline to the amount of time you want it to run.
