Solution to -old.ppta problem?

Hi
After moving my project files (.pptx, .ppta and .mp3) to a different drive my audio disappeared and a new .ppta file was created leaving my original renamed -old.ptta . I could see the file size was 300MB so my audio was still there. But how to get to it?
The only way I found to correct the problem was to not only remove the text "-old" but to rename both the .pptx and .ppta to a new name. For example...
BEFORE:
MyPresentation.pptx
MyPresentation-old.ppta
AFTER:
MyPres.pptx
MyPres.ppta
Hope this works for you too.

Thanks for sharing your solution, Gavin!
And for anyone who encounters this in the future, you can find more troubleshooting tips for missing audio here.
You'll also want to be sure that your presentation is located on your local hard drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB (external) drive can cause erratic behavior, including loss of resources.
Thanks again, Gavin
Wow Gavin! I hope I never have to try that solution, but I'm definitely filing it away in my archives! Thanks
