I just published a new course and tested it on my laptop in Google Chrome. It worked fine. I am now trying to watch the same course on my iPad Pro and I have two problems, one much larger than the other -- a) the exit button isn't working, and b) I have no sound. Sound is working for other applications, so it's clearly the presentation. Had the same issue in both Safari and Chrome on the iPad. Suggestions?
Thanks for reaching out. Someone from Articulate contacted me yesterday and we figured it out. My iPad doesn’t have a mute toggle, but it had been set to ringer off in the control panel. Once I switched that, I was fine.
He said that it isn’t supposed to work in iOS 8.0 and later, but it was working in the presentations I was testing after I contacted you guys. I’m guessing I was just pressing too many buttons at once while I was trying to figure out the sound issue.
I'm writing to you because of the lack of sound you experienced when viewing a Presenter-published course on an iPad. Do you happen to recall how you fixed the problem, i.e., specific steps you took to adjust your iPad's settings, to get it to work?
Since this discussion is a bit older, let's start fresh! It sounds like you're experiencing some iPad audio issues as well! If you'd like our team to lend a hand with testing your course, we're more than happy to take a look at your .story file and provide guidance.

Hi Joanna, let's see if I can help narrow this down:
If you can you provide a link that I use to test on my device, that would be really helpful!
Hi Joanna,
I'd love to help! Could you share a bit more, such as:
That'll help me figure out next steps for you.

Thanks for that update Joanna, and that'll do it! What about the exit behavior? Were they able to fix that too?

I'm equally guilty of pressing too many buttons at once when things aren't working. 😉
The Exit tab behavior is described here too. It's a change in how iOS handles closing the browser window.
