Still, a blank resume course pop-up
Dec 06, 2011
I keep getting a blank "Would you like to resume this course from where you left off?" pop-up on my course. I went through the steps outline here - http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/kb/?p=2111, and none of the text labels in my player templates were blank.
This is happening in a grouped presentation, ie there is a master slide that links to several courses to create one overall longer course. Not sure how that would matter but it is a little different of a setup so thought I'd mention it. Oh, and I went through each of the individual linked to courses' player templates as well as the master slide's player templates and all text boxes were okay.
Any ideas what may still be causing this?

Hey Niall!
Did you actually go through the process of repopulating and saving your text boxes? Sometimes just doing that can resolve it. Also, when you select the Player Template that you want to publish with, make sure that it does not contain the (in project) name as this will not be the version of the template with the correct labels. If you continue to have problems, you might want to rename the player template after you re-enable the text labels.

Hi Peter, I hadn't actually gone through the process of repopulating all of the text boxes. Do you mean just deleting what is in each text box and then re-typing in what I just deleted?
I changed some of the text in the resume course pop-up, re-saved, and that seemed to work. Thank you for your help.
Hey Niall!
Thanks for the update! Per the link you provided at the top, the quickest and easiest way to repopulate them all in the future is by using the Language drop-down list at the bottom of the window to select the appropriate language. But it sounds like you've got it sorted out now- glad to hear it!
