I'm trying to add the spotlight annotation to my slide but the spotlight stays on the slide for the entire time. I click on 'Stop Annotation' when I'm done it doesn't seem to be working. I've tried the other annotations and the same thing keeps happening.
Depending on whether or not your slide already contains audio, have a look at these tutorials, keeping in mind that Clear All removes any annotations showing on the screen:
Adding Annotations and Recording Audio at the Same time:
I read the tutorial and I did do the annotation as explained. I already have audio in place, there is some ppt animation which was already synced. I have used annotations before that have worked on a previous project as well.

Hi Selena,
Depending on whether or not your slide already contains audio, have a look at these tutorials, keeping in mind that Clear All removes any annotations showing on the screen:

Let me know if that helps...
Hi,
I read the tutorial and I did do the annotation as explained. I already have audio in place, there is some ppt animation which was already synced. I have used annotations before that have worked on a previous project as well.
Not sure what else to try. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Hi Selena,
First, can you replicate the issue with a completely new presentation? If not, then your current presentation may be corrupt:

If you continue to have issues even with a new presentation, can you try clicking the Clear All button & then clicking Stop Annotation?
Hi - I've decided not to use any annotation. Your suggestion will be more work than it's worth for me.
Thanks,
