Strange Audio - Noise at the Beginning of two Video slides
Apr 14, 2014
Hey there,
A colleague of mine is working on technical training courses. the courses include 6 slides where videos created in Camtasia were imported. On two of those video slides, a strange sound appears at the start of the slide. It lasts less than half a second and is not really that bothersome, but I'm looking to figure this out from a learning perspective.
We've checked the audio on the source video files in Camtasia - it's not there.
We've checked the audio in Articulate on the slides themselves - it's not there either.
We've deleted sound from the timeline in both cases and added silence - it's still there.
We've checked that PPT doesn't have any sound on for the slide transitions.
It doesn't happen on the other 4 videos and they were created the same way in the same software.
It seems to occur when the slide starts - we've checked and change the transition in Articulate from User controlled to auomatic and back and forth - doesn't effect it.
Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Already problem solved. Seems like Presenter was having a problem with the video - loading it cause the program to try and start playing the sound first, but then it started again once the video fully loaded. Adding an extra half to full second of audio to beginning of video prevented Presenter from playing any sound.
Hi John! Glad that you were able to get this sorted and thank for providing an update.
