Strange characters appear when publishing

Hello! We are having letters appear with "strikethroughs" during the publishing step. We've had strange characters appear in place of bullets before, but this one is new. Ideas? Thanks!

Hi Anna! Does this happen in all of your courses, or just this course? Be sure that you are working locally.
