Stuck in a Presenter '13 Quiz

Feb 07, 2017

I submitted this same issue (different course) for discussion three years ago, but I never got anywhere with it and the discussion got hijacked by a different quiz issue. I have another client who created a course with quizzes at the end of each lesson and then a Post-Test at the end. Some users, upon visiting a quiz for the first time, get the Correct/Incorrect bar but also the Submit button. The user cannot select an answer but they can click Submit which then gives the prompt that they must answer the question first. Ah, but they cannot. The course is restricted so users cannot advance past this quiz.

The Presenter player settings are set to Always Resume, and the have to be like this. Ignore Flash cookie is also selected.  This happens on any browser. It cannot be deliberately duplicated, but we can log into the affected users' accounts and see the problem for ourselves.

I've attached a screenshot of the issue. The answers cannot be selected. If this was a review, the Submit button would be Prev/Next buttons. It's not a review, but the review bars are there.

Is there a solution to this?

Hey Julie - I took a look at your file and I'm not having the difficulty you noted above.

Please note I did remove all navigation restrictions to maneuver through the content faster :)

Do you see an issue with my published output?

Hi Leslie - This keeps coming up again. I cannot recreate the issue on my own - neither on SCORM Cloud or our own system. But I can log in as a user who is experiencing the issue and see it for myself. It's not all users who experience this, but it is a large enough group of people that our client is getting frustrated.

Hi Julie,

Sorry to hear that you have users still running into this issue, I'm sure that is frustrating.

You mention that you can log in as a user and I'm not sure if that means within the LMS or remotely into the machine, but a debug log from one of these instances would be helpful.

You could then share with our support engineers here to take a deeper look.
