I'm using the "wipe" animation to bring in some lines of text. These show when I preview them in Studio (360), but when I publish (SCORM 2004) they don't show up. Any ideas about what's wrong and how to correct it?
Sorry that's happening! I have a few questions to help me narrow this down:
Did you upload the published output to your LMS?
What browser did you use to test the content?
Were you viewing the HTML5 output?
HTML5 support in Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge is lagging behind other major browsers. For example, they don’t support "masking" animations in HTML5 content, which includes the "wipe" animation.
I just experienced this issue for myself and thought I'd chime in, in case it helps anyone. As Alyssa mentions above, the current versions of IE and Edge don't know how to handle certain animation effects, including the wipe animation. The result is that objects instantly appear and disappear.
I haven't tested this in Firefox, but I can confirm it works fine in Chrome. To guarantee that you're seeing the HTML5 output, right-click the presentation_html5.html file in your output, and choose Open With -> Google Chrome. The wipe animations should play just fine. I uploaded the course to my LMS and it worked there too.
