SWF files not working in Articulate Presenter
Oct 05, 2012
I am using Captivate 4 and 5 along with Articulate Suite '09. I am working on Windows 7 64bit. I just had a Captivate 4 file translated and when I loaded the file into Articulate I get the problem when the text box asks the user to click 'Tab' the cursor jumps to the URL of the Internet Explorer window. I converted the file to Captivate 5 (as I had that license also). Now the file runs really fast and blinks at the end. I have updated Captivate 4 and 5 with the tabbing update to the standard.htm file and can get the files to work outside of Articulate. I have also updated Articulate to fix the tabbing issue in Articulate. I still can't get either file to work. I tried to resize my file and run it as a web object. It works but none of the instructions are in the right place and the screen is distorted. Any ideas on what I can try next?

Welcome to Heroes, Kaye!
We'd be happy to take a closer look at your files, if you'd like. Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:
Send to Articulate Presenter Package – Articulate Presenter ’09 Help
Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Thanks!
Thanks, actually I tried one more fix and it worked. I still used web objects but this time did not change the size of the file. This made everything work great.
Glad to hear it, Kaye! Thanks for checking back in
