SWF Movie File Won't Play

Hi everyone,
I've been trying to add a video from our company's website on how to measure a window, but for some reason the video won't play either when I preview or publish my file. When I insert the video, I simply go to the Articulate tab, click "Flash Movie," select my file, select "Display in slide," set the behavior, and click OK. The movie is a SWF file, and it plays in the small preview window of the "Insert Flash Movie" box. Why would it play in the preview window and then not play from my actual presentation? I have also tried to use Video Encoder to switch the file from .swf to .flv, but it won't accept .swf files. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

I would make sure that your movie adheres to these best practices:

I just checked those guidelines and from what I can tell, this movie fits them all. When I preview or publish the file, I see a Flash icon that blinks very very quickly. I don't get any sound, and I don't see anything but the icon. Thoughts?
Sounds like it was created with some ActionScript 3. Articulate only works with Actionscript 2 right now.
I'm not sure how to tell if that's the problem or not since I didn't create the videos. I've uploaded one if you have a moment to take a look at it. Also, is there a way to convert this video to a useable format? If not, I guess I'm up a creek without a paddle...
Thanks!
Yep, that AS3 in there alright. Thats what is causing the flashing FLV icon. You can create a web object for it and have it play through there.
you can look here for some help on creating the index.html page needed for the Web Object to load.

I think there are some Screenr tutorials on here as well to help you on creating the web object.
Thanks for checking it for me! Blargh... knew I'd need to learn how to program Flash one day. :-/ I'll definitely look into the Web Object idea! Right now I'm begging our marketing and IT people to find me a version that'll work more easily. LOL
Gracias!
Blargh!! LOL yeah, i had to re-learn AS2 after getting my new job, i had gone all AS3 on everything and after jumping back into Articulate from L-tora, had to step back down the ladder.
Good luck!
