Synch not "sticking"
Jul 20, 2012
This happens on and off, not sure why...
I'll synch a slide, then go to annotate the slide and the synching that I just did is no longer there. I then synch it again and attempt to annotate... but still the synching is not "sticking." I've tried doing "Save and Close" then go back in under Annotate and the synching I just did still isn't showing up.
Any suggestions?

Hi Dayna
Sorry for the trouble. Not sure if it's possible you're running into this known issue with multiple attempts at syncing, but it's worth taking a look at. Otherwise, we'd be happy to take a look at your project files and try to determine what's going on. Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

Thanks!
Unfortunately I keep getting "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage" when I try to access the link you provide (in the first paragraph).
Hi Dayna,
Sorry about that, it seems to be working fine on my end. I'll post the details here:
You may find that your animations are not synchronized as expected if all the following criteria are true:
This is a known issue. You can avoid this issue in either of the following ways:
Does that sound like what you might be running into?
Bullets 1 and 3 do apply. I have "Saved and Closed" but that doesn't usually help. I have fixed this particular slide (I'm really not sure what I did - just multiple tries of "Saving and Closing," clearing all Annotations, Saving the document and reopening, etc...)
So what you're saying is I shouldn't use the Play button to preview the slide? That's a pain! Is this a bug you guys are trying to fix?
Hi Dayna,
Glad you got it working. If you'd still like us to look into why you experienced the issue in the first place, we'd be happy to take a look at your files. As far as not using the Play button to preview, that would only apply if you were using it in sequence with the other steps.
Thanks for checking back in!
Thanks, maybe I'll take you up on that if it happens again. I do have a question though... when you said:
"As far as not using the Play button to preview, that would only apply if you were using it in sequence with the other steps."
What do you mean by "if you were using it in sequence with the other steps."?
Hey Dayna,
I just meant that the Play button works most of the time, though a little fickle, but there is an actual known and documented issue when using it in sequential order with these steps:
