Synchronisation and audio quality not OK
Nov 19, 2013
Hello,
I just used Presenter for the first time and noticed two things:
- the synchronisation of powerpoint animations with audio is not OK
- the quality of imported audio is reduced quite a lot
What I did is import audio to an existing power point presentation that has animations. After that I synchronised the animations manually with the audio but the timing of the animations was not OK when I previewed or published it. I had to manually adjust the timing by editing the audio file.
Furthermore, after importing the audio the quality was reduced a lot. It sounds like the audio bandwith is reduced. Is there an option to import audio without loss of quality?
Thanks in advance, Jan-Pieter Smolders

Hi Jan-Pieter and welcome to Heroes!
When importing audio from powerpoint, there are a few elements of powerpoint audio that are not supported as you'll see here. You may want to follow the directions to export your audio and then reimport it into Presenter.
When you publish, you will also have the option to change the publish quality settings from the Properties window as you'll see in this image:
Thanks a lot Ashley. I increased the bitrate to 160 kbps and that improved the audio quality a lot.
Thanks again, Jan-Pieter
I'm glad I could help Jan-Pieter and thanks for the update!
