I would like to take a Presenter course I created and publish it as
Format: FLV
Frame Size: 320x240
bit rate: 160kbps
Framerate: 15 fps
I have made it to run through on its on with no side panel - I just need to publish it with these specs - can anyone help? I tried playing it and doing a screen capture - the quality was really low.
Flash movie quality can diminish if you enlarge it from its original size, so you'd basically want to lock your presentation at its optimal size, which is 980 pixels wide x 640 pixels tall. You can do that within Player Templates -> Other -> Presentation Size. The link for that can be found here.
I am not sure this answers my question - I do not want to insert a flash movie in presenter - I want my final output of the presenter presentation to be a .FLV file - so after I complete my course and I choose to Publish in Presenter - is there a way to make the Presenter file an FLV?
The content I am publishing is getting published to YouTube and my team would prefer an FLV file for the courses.

Hi Wendy,

Also, take a look at this handy calculator to help you determine the optimal bitrate at which to encode your Flash video files: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/flash/apps/flv_bitrate_calculator.html
Hope that's helpful. Good luck!

Hi Wendy,
Articulate products only create SWF-based output (multiple SWF files).
You can upload your presentation to YouTube by recording it with a screen capture program like screenr.com
Here's a blog describing how it can be done: http://daveperso.mediaenglishonline.com/2009/06/17/publishing-articulate-to-youtube/
Hope that better answers your question!
Thank you Thank you Thank you - I think this is the answer!
Awesome! Good luck!
