Text in Notes tab cutting off at the top

Apr 05, 2011

I am working on a course that I built using Presenter.  The Notes tab is activated so it shows up on the left hand side of the screen (in the navigation area).  The problem is if I am in the course and decide I want to see the text in the Notes tab when I click on it the Notes tab appears but the text acts like it is cut off at the top and doesn't show everything until I click on the Notes tab a second time.  Any ideas what's going on or how to fix it?

Thanks!

I would suggest you submit a case by following the steps below.

Please create an Articulate Presenter package, then upload the zip file to our server. You can review how to do this here:

http://www.articulate.com/support/presenter09/?p=457

Upload the resulting zip file from your computer to our server using this upload form:

Please be sure to include a description of your issue, your version of PowerPoint, version of Windows and version of Presenter '09 which you can find in Help and Support -> About Articulate Presenter. Please also include the URL for this thread so we can follow up with you in the forums.

Hi Paul,

First, please make sure that you are working with a local presentation. Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior. You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate). Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names. Additional information regarding "Naming Files, Paths, and Namespaces" in Windows operating systems can be found in the following Microsoft article.

If you continue to experience issues with the Notes tab in Presenter, please submit a support case with us and include a Presenter Package. Also, if you do open a support case, please share the case number with me (either in this thread or by private message) so I can follow the progress of the case and update this thread.

Thanks, Paul!

Christine
