Text not showing up in Presenter 13 from PowerPoint 13

I normally use Storyline but I had a particular need to convert a program into Presenter 13 from a PowerPoint deck that was created in PowerPoint 13. Everything converted okay except while the text shows up in edit mode, it goes invisible in preview and publish mode.

For reasons I can't go into here, the solution can't be how I just need to use Storyline. I need too use Studio in this case. But can any of the experts help me out as to why they think the text may disappear in the preview and publish mode? The audio stays, the graphics stay and timing stays...just the text goes away. I have even added NEW text to see if it sticks and it does not ... it goes hidden as well.

Any thoughts?
