I love the spotlight annotation and would like to use it in a project that I am working on. My problem is that I need to spotlight to begin almost immediately after the narration starts. In the time that it takes me to click "start annotation" and then start the spotlight annotation, I've already missed the point at where the annotation would sync with the audio. Any suggestions? Thanks!
The cool part of the "spotlight" annotation is the wrap around animation, but that is also what takes some time. So, you can disable the animation of the annotation and it will appear faster, just not look as cool.
You may also want to consider creating your own spotlights in PPT. You will have more control. Here is a screenr on how to do that:
