I have a course that has been uploaded as a video, therefore, it indicates there is only one slide. Learners need to watch 80% of the video before it's considered passed. How do I assign these properties?
Hi, Karen -- Thanks for reaching out with your question! As it appears a similar question was posed over here in this thread, you may want to take a look at the responses and suggestions to see if what has been offered will work for you. :)
Not a problem, Karen -- that's what we're here for, and while that thread was for Storyline, I thought perhaps the suggestion could apply to your situation, as well! Please feel free to let us know if you are all set or if you still need additional assistance, and you are also welcome to share your file if you'd like us to take a closer look! :)
I am using Articulate Presenter 13 and am quite new at this. The other thread suggested using T/F variables, however, I fail to locate any of those parameters. Maybe they are only present in Storyline?
Hi, Karen -- Many thanks for sharing your file! Unfortunately, it exceeds the size limit on SCORM Cloud for which I am able to perform testing, so I would like to ask if you could bear with us, as I escalate your issue to our Support Engineers for further investigation. I will go ahead and submit a ticket on your behalf, and you will be contacted via the email address we currently have on file for you just as soon as possible. Thanks again for your continued patience as we do our best to assist you. :)
Hi, Karen -- I just wanted to touch base and let you know that your support ticket #00730239 has been received on our end and you should be receiving a confirmation email that reflects the same ticket number momentarily. If you receive that confirmation in your INBOX for the email address we have on file for you, please check your SPAM folder. Otherwise, I'll be sure to monitor the progress our super Support Staff makes on your case, and share relevant updates here in the threads for others who may benefit. :)
Thanks so much for opening the support ticket! While it was confirmed that there was no way to set completion based on a percentage of the one video slide, a solution was offered (it's listed below in the fold text.) I applied a portion of what was suggested and it worked out great!!
Articulate Presenter '13 communicates course completion to a learning management system (LMS) as soon as the learner meets the completion requirement—i.e., either when they reach the designated quiz result slide or when they've viewed the required number of slides.
Sorry to say there's currently no way to set to completion based on the percentage of the slide duration. You are correct that triggers and variables are only applicable to Storyline.
You could try creating an additional slide and setting the required number of slide viewed to 2 of 2. On the first slide, hide next button on the player then creating a hyperlink to jump to the next slide. You can then make use of animation timings to set when this hyperlink would appear on your slide (after 80% of the video).

Hi, Karen -- Thanks for your response and do you think it would be possible for you to share your Articulate package so that I can take a closer look?
Hi Christie,
Here's the package. Thanks so much for looking at this!
