Trouble with links as attachments
Jun 28, 2011
Hello,
We're having a bit of trouble on certain systems (not all) with the "Attachments" function. When I set up an attachment as a link, some users are receiving an error when trying to view the attachemnts (we are viewing the presentations through our LMS). The link is to an internal page that we usually all have access to, so I do know it's not an access issue.
The description of the problem is: "It was just a blue questions mark – no message, and I saw Adobe in the picture – that’s all I got for an error."
Have you ever seen this before?

Hi Jennifer and welcome to Heroes,
Can you have one of your users send a screenshot of the error and then post it in your reply?
Hi Brian,
Thank you for your quick response. We've been working on reproducing the issue. (The user who had the problem is now no longer part of the project). No one else can reproduce the issue so far, so for now the problem is solved
Jennifer
I noticed you said "...usually all have access to..." in your first post. I have seen this issue when a link was shown and some people didn't have the right credentials in their single-sign-on (SSO) file. Depending on the system and network settings, the error messages are different.
