Trouble with others' viewing a Presenter 09 file in Sharepoint 07

Hi,
I saved a presentation in Sharepoint 2007. I was able to view the html player and launch it successfully. However, others in the company could not see the html player file. It turned out that the "force check out" feature on the Sharepoint document library was active. This meant that once I launched the player, I effectively "checked out" the presentation which included every supporting file (smf, flash, etc.). Unless each of these files is "checked in", other users cannot see (or of course launch) the player html file.
"Checking in" each file is tedious to say the least; therfore, best practice is to create a document library that has the "force check out" feature disabled.
Hope this helps.
