First of all, please make sure your project files are located on your local hard drive (typically your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior.
Assuming that you are working locally, a good first step any time Studio seems to misbehave is to Repair Studio '13. If you need further assistance, be sure that you are following the procedure here.
I had a problem with videos not publishing (that were fine when published last week. The only way to resolve this problem today was by following the instructions here (just make sure you have your serial number close to hand!). Now all solved.

I have installed the update, however, this issue with AP7 seems to have returned
