tutorial with quizzes not working

Jan 24, 2014

I created a tutorial with quizzes embedded that was posted on Blackboard in the fall semester. No student issues. It was migrated to Canvas and I have many messages from students that the quizzes do not work. I tried it myself in Canvas and from the original file on my desktop. Surprisingly, the quizzes do not work on either. I receive a java error message that Adobe Flash Player has stopped an unsafe operation. I can understand that something may have been corrupted in the migration but why does the original file not run? Please help asap. Student unrest.

Good Afternoon, Marsha.

If you view a published Articulate Presenter '09 presentation on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features of your content to fail.  To properly test your published content and share it with others, upload it to the environment for which it was published as described in this article.

If you're experiencing issues with LMS content, please refer to this article, which outlines common issues pertaining to viewing and tracking content in an LMS.  Also, be sure to package your published content properly for your LMS.

If the issue persists, open a support case with your LMS provider, since they're your primary source of support for LMS tracking and reporting issues.

Please let us know if you need anything else, and have a great day!
