Un-sync animation timing

Feb 08, 2011

I'm not sure if there is a post or article already about this, but....

If I Sync Animations on a slide for, say, 12 seconds, then decide to remove the animations and audio, the slide still is programmed to go for 12 seconds (according to Preview Slide).

How do I remove that timing so that it goes back to the default Presentation timing?

BTW, I tried to move the timeline in the Audio Editor but the slide total time did not change, and I don't want to have to do this for every slide either.

Hi Scott,

I played around with this a little bit and I had to go back into the Sync Animations option and "re-record" the animations, even though the animations no longer exist. You would just sync for however long you want the slide to play now that you have removed the animations.

Another option is to group all of the objects on your slide and copy them to a new slide (after you have removed the animations). Now you are starting fresh with the slide timing and the syncing should not have carried over (because you removed the animations and syncing before copying over).

Just some ideas.

Amanda
