Unable to click on hyperlinks on published work
Jan 23, 2014
Hi,
I have Articulate Presenter 2013 on a remote desktop and have published my finished work to a .zip file. I have emailed to my co-workers to test it out and the hyperlinks do not work. I get the warning message "The hyperlinks feature on this slide has been disabled while viewing locally because your browser does not support it." What is wrong? Everything works fine when I test it on my remote desktop, but when I try to share the output file, the hyperlinks stop working. This basically renders my CBT useless if I want to share my work.

Looks like it's not possible - just had the following back from your support team: "I've consulted this internally and confirmed this is indeed due to browser security issues with playing content locally. I'm afraid there is no workaround on a Mac beyond hosting the content on a web server or using a Windows machine."
So you can't weblinks for Macs when publishing to CD. Something for the feature request pile please!
Thanks for sharing an update George and it looks as if Vevette sent the feature request on your behalf.
I just experienced this issue today and discovered that I had to change the Flash player settings to add my local drive as a trusted site. All works beautifully now.
Thanks for sharing your solution with everyone as well Catriona :)

Hi Nishant - I see where you reached out to our support team previously with a similar issue, but you did not share a file for us to take a look at. Would you be able to share your Articulate Package for us to take a look?
I would also like to remind you of our Community Guidelines, which you can find here.
