Unable to "locate" quizzes when upgrading presentation

Hello - I upgraded to Presenter 13 and just tried to open a presentation that I created in 09. I get the message to upgrade, click OK, then get the message that articulate cannot find the quizzes. I don't want to remove the quizzes but I cannot "locate" them. Please advise - thank you!

Hi Johanna and welcome to the community!

If Presenter is unable to find any of the quiz or interaction files, you should be prompted to locate or remove them. What happens when you attempt to navigate to the folder that contains the original quizzes? 

Are you working with your project from your local drive?

  • Work on your local drive (your C: drive). Working on a network drive or a USB drive can cause erratic behavior, including file corruption, loss of audio, and other unexpected behavior. 
  • You should also make sure the directory path to your project files and your published output is less than 260 characters (for example C:\Articulate).
  • Avoid using special characters, accents or symbols in your file names (this includes spaces and underscores).

Also, please make sure that the quizzes are in the same location as your Project file.
