Uninstalling Presenter

Aug 10, 2012

Hello everyone,

I am trying to uninstall Presenter from my computer so that I can install in on my new computer, but this seems to be impossible.

After going to the control panel and clicking uninstall, the installation wizard comes up. I don't get any options to uninstall the program.

I searched on line for answers and it looks like I am not the only one having that problem, but I couldn't find any solution. I would appreciate if someone let me know how to go about it.

Thanks!

Hi Hanna! Are you still having trouble? You should be able to remove Presenter from your computer by clicking Help and Support and then choose Deactivate Articulate Presenter, like the picture below. Or another way is to uninstall via your Windows Control Panel (click your Windows start button > Control Panel > Uninstall a Program).  Hope that helps!

Hello Jeanette,

Thank you for your message. Yes, I was able to disactivate the presenter, but how I can uninstall it all the way, including all the other elements such as quizes?

I tried via control panel, but after I click Uninstall, InstallShield wizard comes up. It asks me to select the programs that I want to install.

1. After I diselect them, I am not able to move to the Next window

2. After I click next (having them all selected) I am asked to insert a disk

Do you know any other solutions to that problem?

Thank you,

Hi Hanna, sorry to hear of the trouble. See if it helps to walk through steps in this knowledgebase article - but in  step 3, choose Remove All instead of just choosing Presenter. Then click Next and you should be on your way. If not, feel free to submit a case to our support team and we can give you some more direct help, okay?
