Is it possible to publish Articulate courses that do not force users to do anything? For example, not all engage buttons need to be clicked before moving to the next slide, freely move back and forth even if viewing an unanswered unscored quiz knowledge check, etc. Basically would like to know if a course can be completely open?
Thank you very much for the reply! Could you tell me briefly what I should be looking for, I imagine there are settings in Presenter, Engage and Quiz maker? I have several courses built by other developers that I need to "unlock".

yes, articulate courses can be made completely open. I would say this is the best way to make a course.

in interaction properties in engage chose interactive, then in the placeholders for engage and quizmaker in ppt choose properties
for quizmaker ensure they are allowed to leave at anytime, and the same for engage
You may need to open slide properties and unlock some slides as well
Hope this helps

Phil's right about updating your Quizmaker and Engage files via Presenter. Here's a tutorial for future reference: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/customizing-quiz-properties-on-quizzes-you-ve-added-to-presenter.aspx
Here's how to update the properties from within an Engage interaction: http://community.articulate.com/tutorials/products/controlling-navigation-and-playback-of-your-interaction.aspx
