So sorry to hear this is happening, thanks for reaching out here. I would recommend first following these steps to get your Articulate tab working again.

If those don't completely resolve what you're seeing, running this repair on your software to fix this erratic behavior should get you back up and running.

Thank you for your reply. Of course I was on a deadline and had to take action immediately.
I deleted the program and reinstalled it.
Now my question is; did the reinstall include the updates or do I need to do the update for 8 again?
