I've got a published course (Studio'09) for which I do not have the source files. Now the contact person for that course has changed so I want to update the presenter that we use in the player settings. Is there a way to do this by adusting the files of the published course?
In the published file set, if you look in \data\swf, you should find a cryptically-named .swf file (one that does not begin with "bg" or "slide" or "tb") -- for example, "76DC1B606FA2.swf". That would be the presenter picture. If you have Flash, you can change the picture in that .swf.
Next, look at "presentation.xml" stored in the \data folder. In that file you'll find a section called "BuiltinProperties". You can edit the data between the various sets of square brackets in that section to update the presenter information.

Hi Jeff,
Probably not the answer you want to hear, but as far as I know this isn't possible.
Hopefully, I'm wrong and someone with a little more experience modifying those output files will be able to give you some tips on this.
If you do find a way to do this, please share the information. I'm sure others would appreciate it, as well
Thanks!

Hope that helps...
Very nice, Steve
