URGENT! Missing Some Notes on Notes Tab

Apr 17, 2015

When I publish, the notes on ALL my slides don't appear.  Most of them do, but I can not figure out why some pages do not.  I verified that my notes are not white. I have tried changing the fonts from Calibri, Arial and MS Sans Serif, all of which don't seem to make a difference. There is no "presentation.xml" to manipulate. The headers in the "frame.xml" are no different between the notes pages that do show and those that don't. I have a client deliverable and I can not figure out what is going wrong. I am about to lose this contract with the client. If that happens, I delete Articulate. The notes dropped are not consistent between one publishing session and another. Notes that were not present on slide 7 become present again after another publishing.

Hi Will!

Are you working locally as we advise? Are you only having problems with one file? You may need to import into a new file.

  1. Open a new, blank presentation in PowerPoint.
  2. Go to the Home tab, click the drop-down arrow beside New Slide, and choose Reuse Slides.
  3. In the Reuse Slides panel, click the Browse button and choose Browse File.
  4. Browse to your original PowerPoint file and click Open.
  5. At the bottom of the Reuse Slides panel, mark the box to Keep source formatting.
  6. Right-click the first slide in the Reuse Slides panel and select Insert All Slides.
  7. Save the new presentation and republish.

Note: Articulate resources, such as audio and video, will need to be inserted again into the new presentation. You may need to export the narration from your original presentation, then import it into the new presentation.

If you are having difficulty with Storyline in general, you may need to conduct a repair.
