using power point triggers in Presenter?

I have created a great interactive slide for a course. The user clicks on various images on the slide and the images then exits via a sliding door. Everything is set up by using triggers in the custom animations. It works fabulously in the power point, but when I preview it in Presenter or publish it, nothing works.
Do these triggers not work in Presenter? is there something I am missing or do I have to scrap this slide from the course? I am really hoping to keep this slide as it is a great interactive piece in this otherwise dry course on process improvement.
Thanks,
Karyn

Hi Karyn,
I know this isn't want you want to hear, but some animations in PowerPoint are supported by Presenter, but not all of them. I believe you're using the "Animation using a trigger "Start effect on click of..."" animation, but I'm not entirely sure. If so, though, I'm afraid that animation type is not supported.
If you'd like more information on what animations are supported, please take a look at the article below:

Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks!

Yeah, since posting the question I found that info. I was using the start effect on click of...
Does anyone have any other ideas how to possibly do something like this? I guess what I am trying to create is a drag an drop type activity, but I don't have Storyline So if anyone has any suggestions, please send them my way:)
Hi Karyn,
It may be an overly simple suggestion, but have you considered maybe creating a Drag and Drop quiz in Quizmaker and just inserting it into Presenter/PowerPoint? This is assuming, however, that you have access to Quizmaker. If not, you could always try it out
I do have quizmaker, and had not thought of that. Thanks, I will look into playing with that and see if I can get it to do something similar.
I tend to forget quizmaker can do more than just make quizzes
Thanks!
No problem! Don't worry, I tend to favor some of the software and completely forget that my life could be made so much easier if I just used one of the other tools. I think we just end up focusing on the task at hand!
Good luck on the project, Karyn!
Christine
