What happens to the video file when I open a PowerPoint that was published in Presenter 09 and I allow the file to be upgraded to 13? The video appears to be dropped. Can the video file somehow be recovered and reinserted without having to locate the source video file? We're converting some courses to Presenter 13 so they can be viewed on iPad and I would rather not have to go back to the video producer to get the video files. Help?
Hi Harriet! Sorry that your post got missed on Friday. I have not seen any reports of this. Would you be willing to work with our support team on this? It would probably be beneficial if you could share both Presenter Packages as well (create '09 Package and create '13 Package).
I think the problem is that the .ppta files are missing, so Articulate can't find the videos. I think the files were deleted in a "cleanup" - oops! If it happens again in a situation where all the files are present, I'll contact support.
I had that issue as well, but it was activeX (I think that is what it is called!). when I clicked activate, allow or whatever it was, the .ppta files appeared.

Ah, that would make sense. I thought you were indicating that there was an issue with the upgrade process. Thanks for the update Harriet!
