Video sound

OK...I used the encoder..awesome...video altered for use in presenter...got onto the properties -- adjusted volume...awesome...uploaded it to the slide...it goes on, you see the picture...AND NO SOUND...my computer speakers work...I could hear the film on the properties section...the volume is up on the seekbar...help!

HI Michele,

No, you shouldn't need to publish with presenter, but you may want to publish with the encoder first, if you haven't already. 

Once the video file is published with Encoder, you should be able to see the type of video that you're using. Find the video file that's produced and insert it into presenter. 

Are these the steps you're taking? If so, you should be able to hear the audio once it's inserted into Presenter. 

If the sound still doesn't work, may be missing one of the codecs needed for this particular video format. Please follow the steps outlined in this support article.

Hi...thx again for the response...so, I did publish on encoder...it's such a great tool...set the settings, particularly volume...inserted the video again..oh, and it's an FLV...that is what encoder creates...anyway, it runs, but still no sound...so, let me try the support article...and I will keep you posted...I really appreciate this feedback. Michele
