Hi Michele,
What file format is the video you're inserting from the Encoder? What steps are you taking, exactly, to insert the video into your slide?
Also, is the sound missing when you play the video in the slide, when previewing, after publishing, or all of the above?
Thanks!
So, I uploaded the video after I encoded it in the video encoder...it is in the encoder queue so I figure it's what it's supposed to be. When I do the preview...there is no sound...is that because it's not published?
HI Michele,
No, you shouldn't need to publish with presenter, but you may want to publish with the encoder first, if you haven't already.
Once the video file is published with Encoder, you should be able to see the type of video that you're using. Find the video file that's produced and insert it into presenter.
Are these the steps you're taking? If so, you should be able to hear the audio once it's inserted into Presenter.
If the sound still doesn't work, may be missing one of the codecs needed for this particular video format. Please follow the steps outlined in this support article.
If it still doesn't work, we'd be happy to take a look at what's happening:

Hi...thx again for the response...so, I did publish on encoder...it's such a great tool...set the settings, particularly volume...inserted the video again..oh, and it's an FLV...that is what encoder creates...anyway, it runs, but still no sound...so, let me try the support article...and I will keep you posted...I really appreciate this feedback. Michele
Hi Michele,
No problem! If that article doesn't help, and you submit a support case, please be sure to share the case number with me. This way I can follow along with the progress and hopefully see what's causing the audio to cut out.
Thanks again!
Hey Christine...thanks again...no luck...will submit a report and keep you posted. M
Sounds good.
Thanks Michele!
