Volume icon

I can add audio to a powerpoint and it previews fine. However, even though i've selected "hide during show", once published in Articulate and reviewed the icon slowly fades into view as the slide progresses! Any ideas?

Hey Stan! Are you talking about the little speaker icon that PowerPoint inserts when you've recorded some sound in PowerPoint? You can actually select that icon in PowerPoint and move it off-slide so that the user doesn't see it when you publish your output. However, for best results with your audio, we recommend inserting your audio via the Articulate menu instead, like this tutorial describes. That way, you don't have to worry about PowerPoint's audio icon ever appearing on top of your slide. Plus, you'll also have the ability to edit your sound right within Presenter, by using the built-in audio editor. And,  you'll be able to use Presenter's Sync Animations tool to sync animations with your narration.

Hey Stan, the Pulse animation will work in Articulate Presenter, but the issue you're seeing is that unfortunately repeating animations are not supported. So that's why it's only happening once. What you could do, though, is apply the same animation to an object multiple times to create the repeating pulsing effect.
