I am having some trouble with a course I made in Articulate Studio, using presenter. The volume toggle/slider keeps getting blocked by the slide and thus, learners are unable to use it. You will see in the photo the volume slider is hidden behind the slide. Any thoughts on why?
Hi there, Laura. It looks like you're seeing a bug where the volume slider appears behind your slide content when the Player is set to fill the browser window. Can you adjust your Player settings to lock the Player at optimal size? I'd like to see if this workaround restores the volume slider.
Hi Crystal, thanks. Unfortunately I already did set my player at optimal size before reaching out for help since the problem persists. Hoping there is a solution since we can't share this course with our learners as is.
Thanks for attempting that change, Laura. With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your .story file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
Laura, Check if you have the most recent 360 update. We had the same issue but it was with an older published file. One of our guys re-published the same course today and the issue went away.
Also, Crystal - the volume slider issue only showed up in Chrome. In IE it was ok for us.
Are you referring to Storyline 360 or Presenter 360 when you say the issue has gone away? I no longer see the problem in Storyline but it remains for me in Presenter with the latest update. I reported it earlier this month (Case #01753439). And, yes, it seems to only be occurring in Chrome. While publishing for the fixed optimal size option does correct the volume control (and other) issues, unfortunately, that is not acceptable for many of my clients.
