My client doesn't yet have an LMS so I am publishing courses as a web object for them. They use SharePoint for housing all internal resources but the player.html file won't launch the course in SP. The only prompt is to save it, and then of course it doesn't play.
Can't unzip the file in SP and run the player.htm file, so do we need to replicate the published, zipped file structure and then copy all files over to SP?

You will want to send learners a link to the story.html file for viewing. You can read more in this tutorial.
I'm not familiar with SharePoint, but you could test the content on TempShare to understand how it should work if you'd like.
