Web object won't display

Mar 11, 2014

I have inserted a web object in a slide that works fine within the preview but it does not work once the slide show is produced and transferred to the web server.  Only the blank background slide appears (along with the audio I recorded for it).  I've exhausted all my potential fixes.  One curiosity I noticed -- this may be a clue for someone who knows the software much better than I -- is that the web object appears in the slide as a greenish blue color; not the usual blue.  Any suggestions?

Hi Steve and welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

If you view published Articulate Presenter content on your local hard drive or send it to someone else to view on their local hard drive, you'll encounter security restrictions from the computer, web browser, Flash Player, and network that'll cause various features to fail. To test your content and share it with others, you'll need to upload it to the environment for which it was published. Here's how.

I'm having a similar problem.  I embedded a youtube video in a presentation.  It plays perfectly when I publish and preview, but when I try to launch it in Chrome or IE on the same computer I created it...my laptop....it gives an error "The YouTube video feature on this slide has been disabled while viewing locally because your browser does not support it."  Any ideas?
