When using the resources function of the Player files are linked from the desktop contained in a development folder. How are these resources resolved/saved/captured within the publishing process such that they materialize correctly when the published course is restored/used within an LMS environment.
If you have linked the files into your Presenter course, those will get pulled into the published output folders and be included once you upload that to the LMS or web server.
When you've published it, you'll want to be sure that you're testing it on the intended LMS/server vs. testing it locally as that can cause you to encounter security restrictions from the browser.
i remember, vaguely, reading that somewhere. Good to know it works likes that. I will give a trial version a whirl to make sure it works as i expect on the LMS.
I think I have this question. I'm trying to hyperlink from shapes on a slide, to the case studies in my Resources tab. However, once I've published to Tempshare, none of the hyperlinks works, even though I can see that the case studies are there in the Resources tab. I can't work out what I'm doing wrong. This seems like such a simple thing but the presenter_content/external_files/filename.pdf solution isn't working.
Are you following the steps here to link the content? I've only seen that for Storyline, not Presenter, so I'd be curious what happens when you try to access the hyperlinks? If you're using Presenter and looking to link to a file, it's not officially supported but you can use the steps here.
