Why do I have to readd the Presenter Add in EVERY TIME?

Aug 27, 2020

Hello,

I had an update with Articulate and ever since then, the add-in is not automatically loading on my ribbon. I know how to add it back on and have gone through the steps to ensure it's not disabled... I have to physically click to add it back on through my add-in COM Add-In menu and when I do check it off to add it in, it says load behaviour is set up as "unloaded", I would like this to be "Load at startup".

It is really annoying to have to readd it every time... Any thoughts?

Thank you!

Hello,

Thank you for your response, not sure why you provided this though as I did state in my original post that I did go through these steps already...l must admit, a little bit more frustrating waiting nearly 24 hours for you guy's to get back to me, only to get a response that didn't address my issue...

I have already searched through previous discussions on this issue and have tried the following:

- Restarted my computer multiple times

- Restarted Power point multiple times (even tried different presentations)

- Followed the recommended steps to reenable the add in as you provided again above

- Checked for updates with Articulate

I still am having to RELOAD not reenable the add in each time I open PowerPoint when before the add in used to be on my ribbon automatically every time I started the program.

I hope this is clearer and that you can further look into this issue...

Thank you,

Chantel

Hi Chantel!

Thank you for sharing what you've tried so far! I apologize for the delay. We try to answer each question posted in the community, which means the response time varies. For those issues where you need quick help, we recommend reaching out in a support case.

It sounds like you haven't always run into this with the Articulate Tab in PowerPoint.

Let's start with repairing Studio 360.

If that doesn't do the trick, then we can uninstall and reinstall the Articulate 360 desktop app.

Here's how to uninstall Articulate 360:

If repairing Studio 360 and uninstalling/reinstalling Articulate 360, then we'll need our Support Engineers to step in!

Thank you for the response. I did the steps to reinstall Studio 360 and the add in is still not automatically appearing on my ribbon in Power Point.

I am still having to go to my file-options-addins and manually load it. I have attached a picture which shows what happens.  Note it says' unloaded and I have to manually add it.
