I am trying to export zip files of Articulate Presenter presentations for import into our LMS (Desire2Learn). The presentations are publishing correctly (with the settings I've chosen for the skin) but after publishing, I click "Zip" to export a zip file. Then, when I import the zip file into our LMS and play it, the skin/look/feel is totally different than what I published. Am I missing a step?
I resolved my own issue but I'm posting what fixed it here in case someone else runs into this problem. When you are importing a zip file into Desire2Learn, it prompts you to give a folder name (and you have to do that anyways so all the Articulate files are in the same place). For some bizarre reason, the presentation is only displaying correctly if the folder name has a dash in it (so new-presentation vs newpresentation). I realized this because I'd imported three presentations where the skin worked, and then three where the skin didn't work, and the only difference was a dash in the folder names. So, maybe this will help someone else!
