Is there a way to add shapes and use them as buttons in quizmaker? I want to make a custom intro slide, but don't want to use the previous and next buttons for the user to progress. Or would this be better if done in Storyline? Thanks!
Customization on that level is something you'll find in Storyline, rather than Quizmaker, with the use of buttons and triggers. So you're right on track with that idea!

Another idea is setting up that custom navigation slide in Presenter 360 using Powerpoint hyperlinks and hiding the built-in player buttons on that slide. Then you can simply add your quiz right into the course.
