I have 6 question quiz and I would like them to have the same value in quizmaker, however it doesn´t let me enter decimal in the points, how would you recommend doing this? I tried to put the passing score at 120% so I could give 20 points each question but the system didn´t let me.
Could you explain a bit further what you are trying to do? By default the questions will all have a 10 point value, then the percentage is figured on the Results Slide.
I'm attaching a sample quiz for you to take a look at.
I want each question to have the same value and the sum of that value equals 100. If I leave the default points to 10 but only have 6 questions, I will have a total of 60 and I am telling the system that the passing score is 100, so my guess is that the trainee won´t pass even if they get all the questions correct because they will only get 60 points. My workaround for this particular quiz was to adapt the passing score to 60 but for standarization purposes we wanted to keep the passing score at a 100.
The Results Slide will calculate the pass percentage based on the total points available in the quiz. In the example I shared, there are 6 questions with a 10 point value each. If I miss one, then the percentage is figured with 50 points/60 points and I can set my pass percentage to 100% if needed.
