Alignment of dropped objects in drag and drop freeform questions

Oct 23, 2017

Is there a way to align dropped objects to the left side of the target rather than centering? This seems like it should just be a formatting setting but I'm not finding it...???

Thanks, Alyssa. This sounded like it would work, but when I try that, the object stays wherever in the target it's dropped, even over the edges of the box.

I have a bulleted list of steps in a process that the learner is to drop into the correct order. So they are dragging a bulleted block of text to boxes. The client really wants those bullets to be left-aligned on the screen, and I agree.

I'm not seeing a setting to align the text box to the top left of the target. Am I missing something?

Hi Carrie,

Hmm, the drag object really shouldn't stay wherever it is dropped. With the Tile setting, it should align to the top-left of the target.

Mind if I take a closer look at your file? You can attach it directly in a new thread comment. Also, be sure to let me know if you're using Quizmaker '13 or Quizmaker 360. Thanks!
