Articulate Quiz - Negative Marking

Sep 08, 2011

Hi, I am Creaeting a course, which will include 1000 questions and I am radmo'zing to get 100 slides out of these 1000 slides. Now, I have a blockage with negative marking. I am giving 1 Pt - Correct Answer and 0.25 Pt - Wrong Answer. Articulate is only able to take digits and not decimals for negative marking. Request all you people help in resolving this or else suggest a work around to this. Youe help at the earliest is highly appreciated and will allow be to move smoothly because this has already delayed my work a lot. Thanks in advance for your help and support. Regards, Brijesh

Hello there,

what about assigning 4 points to right answers and 1 point to the wrong ones? or 100 to the right answers and 25 to the wrong ones, it's the same.

Then, if you don't want so many points displayed, "pinball-like" just edit the pass and fail result slides, SELECTING to show user and passing score flags, then going to Slide View mode and DELETING the ( points) . part.

Only scoring percentage will be shown (that's what makes a Quiz passed or failed).

Hope it helps

This was a great help for me but I am facing with one more issue.I have to print this and the result should show as the correct answers total - wrong answers total .Ex: Say I have 10 questions : and as said I have given 4 pts - correct and 1 pt - wrong answer.I am using a logic to divid the result by 4 and getting 1 pt - correct and .25 to wrong answer. Now, the issue is I have to show the result of this like if 7 Qs are correct => 7*4/4 = 7 and the rest are wrong => 3*.25 = .75the total points = 7 - .75 = 6.25.This resultant points have to displayed out for printing in the PAssing Score field. If anybody can help me it will be really great.Once again thanks to all of you for your replies.Regards,Brijesh
