Blocking sequence in quizmaker quiz

May 11, 2012

Hi all,

sorry for the silly question... I need to know if there is the possibility to block the sequence of questions in a quiz.

In my quiz the learner has to answer one questions after the other without jumping.

Thanks a lot!

Silvia.

Hi Peter!

I try to describe my problem. After uploading my scorm quiz in moodle, we extract report about the answers given directly from the database moodle. If the learner answers not in order; I do have strange result.

I give you an example: in the first attempt the learner answers first question then skip the second and then answers the third, afterwards he closes the quiz without completing it and in the nex attempt answers everything. In this case I will have in my report 2 answers for the first and third question. This causes a mess in my report, and I would like to restrict the single attempt somehow in the sense that the learner cannot skip questions (in my quiz propertues it is already unclicked "allow user to skip question", but the quiz has the list of question and the user can select the question to answer anyway...). So I would like to know how can I restrict the sequence of answers...

I hope I was clear...

Silvia

Hi Silvia!

Thanks for clarifying. This sounds like something you may want to discuss with your LMS team, as it is up to the LMS to determine how the data sent from Articulate is processed and displayed. We do have a great article on troubleshooting LMS/Articulate issues, and I'd encourage you to take a look at that if you haven't already had a chance to.
