I am creating a quiz using branching for feedback. I followed the tutorials step by step - checked and double checked my settings but I still get a pop up when I want it to branch to a blank slide.
By "pop up" are you referring to the feedback prompts? Do you still have feedback enabled, by any chance? If so, learners will still see these prompts.
It's possible I may be missing something, though. Can you share some more information about what's happening, or even better, can you share the .QUIZ file? I'd be happy to take a look.
Thank you very much for getting back to me and for sharing the file. I believe I may have found the problem here.
Open up the second question (Hotspot) in "Form View". In the section for "Display" change the "Feedback" to "None". Now, when the learner clicks on "Submit" they should be taken to the next slide.
No - that didn't work - the option for branching completely disappeared and I got the message - The question preview has finished - what do you want to do?
In the form view of the question, under "set feedback and branching" select "more" and then delete out the default text under "enter text for the feedback."

Thanks Christine -
I've attached the quiz - it's the second question which is the hot spot.
I want the correct clicking to go to the slide that shows the resource schedule but I get the pop up that says Correct!
I disabled feedback in quiz properties.
I have template set to submit one at a time.
I set it to Feedback by question
I left the prompt field empty.
Am I missing something?
(I even set to 1 try)

Hi Lauren,
Can you take a look at the link below and tell me if it's working for you?
Here's a published version of the changes I made to your original .QUIZ file:

Seems to be working well on this end. Do you have the quiz inserted into a Presenter presentation, by any chance?
Thanks!
Christine
iT WORKED!
(you are my hero)
It's not published in presenter yet though I did try that.
Hi Lauren,
In the form view of the question, under "set feedback and branching" select "more" and then delete out the default text under "enter text for the feedback."
Hope this helps,
Heidi
Sorry - this is what happens when you start typing, get called to something else, and then don't refresh your page!
Awesome, Lauren! Very happy to hear that works for you :)
No worries, Heidi! I do that on an hourly basis :D
I hope you both have a wonderful weekend,
Christine
Ok - it works!
So the trick was no feedback - but after I set up the branching because the more button disappears when no feed back is marked.
Thanks!
