Branching with Quiz Maker

Jan 25, 2016

I have figured out how to use quizmaker in Articulate and be able to refer back to a slide if a question is answered incorrectly.  However, is there a way to do this for multiple questions?  I want the employee to be able to review all questions on the appropriate slide but I only see in the Edit Properties where I can do this for one slide, not multiple.  Thanks!

I have the quiz on one slide with 15 questions on it.  If an employee answers a question incorrectly, I want them to be able to go the slide that has the correct answer.

One presentation I did, had four modules in it with four quizzes.  I was able to set up the quiz that when an employee who had failed a quiz in the module for them to to back to that module and review the information and take the quiz again.  They could not move to the next module until they reviewed the information in the module and retry the quiz.

The presentation I am working on now has only one module with one quiz.  I want the employee to be able to take the quiz, and when they review it, to go the slide that has the correct answer (doing this for each question missed).  Is there a way to do this per question?  I can't figure that out.

I hope this makes sense.  Thanks!

Then I have totally misunderstood you. You must have a Presenter project, so the quiz looks like a placeholder slide. Bouncing back and forth between the quiz and Presenter content is not possible, so you would want to utilize the feedback and branching within your quiz. If you wish to have the user revisit content once the quiz is failed, you can do that as well. This tutorial about quiz properties may help in understanding this.

This was in the tutorial:

When user fails: Choose what happens when learners fail the quiz. You can close the window, go to a URL, or jump to a specific slide in the course. If you choose Goes to URL, enter the URL in the field that appears.

I know how to jump to a specific slide in the course through the quizmaker.  I have one presentation set up that if a quiz is failed, the learner must go to the slide in Presenter and start the module over.   It leaves the quizmaker and goes to the slide where the module starts.  I did this through the Quiz Properties.

The issue that I am having is that the Quiz Properties will only let me choose one slide to go to for the quiz.  I want to be able to have the employee go the slide that they missed the question on (if they missed more than one).  I don't want them to start the presentation is Powerpoint over again.

It sounds like this may not be option.
