Bug in Articulate Quizmaker
Apr 08, 2014
Hi everyone,
I don't know if anyone has come across this bug before but I have found something very strange in Articulate Quizmaker (version 2009).
Some time ago, I produced an e-learning course on Fire safety in flats and the last module was a series of questions produced in Quizmaker for example, true or false, drag and drop, click on the hot spot, click on several possible answers etc. There was around 20 of them and covered areas such as electrical safety and fire prevention.
Then, months later I produced another e-learning course about the Science of fire with 10 questions of the same kind as above but obviously on a different subject etc, for example how fires start.
But recently, I had to go back to the first e-learning course Fire safety in flats, do one or two minor changes and then republish but I found that when I went to edit the quiz at the end in Quizmaker, I found that instead of the original 20 questions about electrical safety and fire prevention, the quiz was populated with the 10 questions from the Science of fire course !!!!!
Can anyone tell me what on earth is going on here?
Thanks in advance!!!!!!

Sounds like you overwrote the previous quiz. Did you do a save as in your presenter file and then repurpose the old quiz?
Hi,
Thanks for the swift reply. I don't think that I overwrote the previous quiz.
Thanks
If you had two separate quiz maker files then this wouldn't happen. If you can restore from a backup then you should be able to get the old file back.
I would be interested to know how you created your second course, did you start from scratch or reuse assets from the previous course?
